Excellent learninv curve

Good different work experience in both field and office work. Gained a lot of skills especialy working under pressure and in a team A 7 to 4 job, with a lot of data capture sometimes handling clients quiries The ability to multitask comes with the job and eventualy becomes a skill Knowledge to use a computer with different applications and softwares is also a need and it actually gives you great experience and skill in using it for future purposes.

Good insight

Start of the day is to turn on the PC then attend to the work that must first be scrutinized and get more jobs for the rest of the day. Relationship with the co workers is friendly and supportive and sharing advise on life. I have learned that I am capable to do a lot in a constructive environment. I enjoy a positive atmosphere where motivation is key. The challenges I have faced is that misunderstanding will always be there when there is no transparency.

I have been exposed to research and other contractual obligations that the department entered into.

The enviroment was always condusive to work under and the relationship with my co-workers was outstandingly good as I was always free to ask them anything relative to the work. I have leant how to survive in an enviroment that is populated by people from different backgrounds and how to work as a team.

Innovative workplace

Its a challenging environment and high pressure due to the fact that we procure variety of goods, works and services. You are allowed to innovate and at the same time provided opportunity to engage various service provider and learn new trends in the respective industries.

Pros: Having to deal new challenges almost everyday due to the complex nature of the mandate of the organisation
Cons: Lack of allocating lot of time in researching various projects that are implemented in the department. Inability to see through programs so that lessons can be learned.

Getting a new job will be an awesome developmental part of my life

My day starts at 7:30 am; then I start working - checking emails, check yesterday's work if there is any then continue with my daily duties. Currently I am a member of wellness program, Occupational Health and Safety and a committee member of the events team(organizing all events from end year function to people's birthdays). My relationship with colleagues start from liaising with updating about status of banking details, which demands clarifying to each one with the query as people are not the same and need different attention based on the levels of understanding. I have learnt to be patient in life, resilient and understanding. To have an open mind in order to live a healthier and better life in aspects of my life. I enjoy seeing someone smile from my rendered service. I am mostly challenged by mothering people as I believe that when one gets employed is aware of their responsibilities.

Excellent learning curve

I am working for Property Management Unit under Property Holdings and Leases. I am doing the filing of all the requests for LOGIS for Property Management, filing all the Provincial State Land Vesting Disposal Committee (PSLVDC) files and other Property Management files given by Supervisor, checking all the PSLVDC files which have an Item 28(1) certificate in to see if they are all scanned so that these files would be able to be closed and packed into boxes and send for storage at registry. Capturing request on LOGIS for Property Management. I verify leases schedule for long and short term updated property lease contracts to be taken to the director. Check asset bar codes on the spreadsheet and completed asset disposal/ write off request forms for scraped and non-working condition assets. Communicate with all the officials in the office (internal and external clients) regarding office work, verbally and in writting.
