Its a great place to work as a junior or youngster

A typical day at work includes arriving in the office and browsing through BMC Remedy and ITSM for new and outstanding incidents, both allocated to me and fellow colleagues. Excellent learning curve

My collegues are good people to work with and i enjoy my job I work as a diesel mechanic So far i havev learnt so much I enjoy overhauling engine The most challengine part is when you have to remove gearbox alone

Motivated young individual with great interpersonal skills and logistics administration experience. A solider in the SANDF. I am keen for this opportunity as it will give me opportunity to head in the right direction.

Excellent learning culture

I plan, facilitie and conduct training workshops on career planning and management. Compile reports for such workshops. Conduct research and update presentation material. Conduct skills analysis and skills audit. Compile Workplace Skill Plan & Annual Training Report, and Education, Training and Development Plan. Have good interpersonal relationships. I fill fulfilled when I guided individuals in their careers. Having limited time to visit as many units within the department is challenging as the department is very big.

Pros: Good learning culture in which I have gained transferable skills.
Cons: Low chances for promotion in my environment.

Excellent learning curve

I enjoy working at my department, there is team work, every personnel knows what their job description is, making it more easier to supervise them. There are opportunities to better oneself. The most challenging part of it is the salary.

My pharmacy experience

We started work punctually at 7.30. My working environment was very pleasant. The staff was easy to work with and approachable. I developed quite a bond with my colleagues. I have learned the importance of teamwork. You cannot possibly do everything on your own. I have learned leadership , as I had to step up when other pharmacist weren’t around. The most challenging part was dealing with criticism from patients. I love what I do! Pharmacy helps me serve the community and I’m passionate about that!

Pros: The working hours were good
Cons: I had to travel over 40km to be at work.

It’s a small sized organisation but with a lack of professionalism and proper procurement.

We normally receive a very low number of specimens a day. But everyone work so well with each other and I’ve learnt a bit about management as I was placed as a temporary supervisor and what I loved the most was the team work put in by my colleagues and the only thing that was problematic was procurement for stock.

Pros: Good teamwork.
Cons: No growth.
