Denel-PMP Reviews

Male dominated environment full of politics and agendas, no empowerment, undermining to females,

The strategy about transformation and transparencey it is just a lie. my typical day is full of strategic meetings where i work till head office yet because i am vocal i get excluded. yet when there are problems i am expected to assist solve them. the head office is just there as window dressing. i also conduct long investigations for the head office due to my experience and competence yet i am still undermine. its a sickening political environment .in this company nobody seems to stand up for the truth, instead they only cover their own tracks and care less about others.

Pros: it can be a great place where females can grow but it is too much politicised.
Cons: there is no transformation, no transparency and no truth. people whom i work with are threatened by me due to the fact that i am more skilled, experienced and competent in this job because of my 22years in policing. I get excluded and undermined by males because i am vocal and i do not go along with the wrong that is done.

Personal technical background

I have a relatively strong technical background in petroleum and petrochemical products and product optimization, earned during my studies in France through the IFP-School and Total France. Product, production and customers alignment was and it is still my day to day activities at Safripol and currently at Denel-PMP. I have a strong interpersonal skills and very strong people's management skills, through my current MEM studies at University of Pretoria and my exposure to both highly unionized lab our and international working exposure.

Pros: Saturated
Cons: No growth
