Strong and weak point

I like working at my current employer because I h=get a lot of challenges everyday. Our team is that one that does not take communication seriously, and I am enforcing the communication to be there. I have learnt that in the supply chain department, it is not about yourself but about other people(your customers). Feedback is of more importency regardless of it telling your customer you don't have stock. That will make him/her to have faith and trust in you as a supplier, and once promised a customer a delivery keep them updated all the time. Delligate some of your duties so that you can have enough time to do your job accordingly. Empowerment is vital, give people responsibilities. By so doing, you will get the best of all your colleagues/co-workers.

Pros: at my work place there is no promotion promises and I would like to grow as a person and reach the highest level ever of my carrer.
Cons: I don't have a proble working long hours, but it must be something planned not because someone did not his/her job and it become my burden.

Great learning curve

Its a great learning institution for a beginner. The are numerous tests done on so many products. Eg feeds, food, milk & meat. The are many other tests done such as salmonella and serology testing. Th other lab is for molecular and other for veterinery testing.

Pros: Great microbiological testing area
Cons: Working on weekends

I have learned and gained experience in supply chain

Working at deltamune has given me a lot of flexibility to learn and grow. What I have loved most is the fact that there's less supervision if you can proof and show that you can do what is expected of you on your own without supervision. Working hours at the warehouse house are normal working hours and you can still find time to do your personal things after work. My relationship with co-workers is great, because of my personality, I am a very easy person to socialize with and I make it my business to treat others as I will like them to treat me. My most challenging aspects of my work is suppliers who does not supply in time and suppliers who does not give feedback on their orders status.

I am a friendly someone and enjoy working as a team. working according to the required standard of operation and always adhere to the rules .I can face any challenges that may be brought to my intentions.

Skill building

Gives comprehensive skills and training in the vaccine manufacturing industry. Long hours and unpredictable schedules make a good opportunity for learning fast and how to trouble shoot. Generally stressful environment with toxic management-subordinate relations.

Pros: Great or skills in fast paced production environment

Excellent learning experience

processing more than 200 samples daily, ensuring that temperatures are taken, disinfection is done properly, ensuring proper record keeping methods. challenging aspects: work load, ensuring correct TAT. what i have learned : operating microflex, plates preparation and media poring techniques

Career growth

I have acquired experience in,a number of different fields that I believe I can put it in good practice and use as I move forward. I,started as a Senior technologist in a product monitoring Laboratory, to QC technologist and now I am a Senior Laboratory technologist. I have grown with my career and learned a lot on how to deal with different individuals in different departments .

Excellent learning curve.

working at my company offers a great and exciting experience, there's a lot to learn on a daily basis and it's a great environment. I've learnt a lot including working under pressure, time management and how to prioritize.

Growth opportunity

Working at this company has been so good for me. In the past 3 years i have grown and matured personally and professionally. I was in a mentorship program which developed certain areas in my career. I work in the sales team and have good working relationships with my team. Being in the sales team was a whole new environment for me which i enjoyed very much. I would say the most challenging part of the job was trying to get everything done as fast as i can cause turnaround time is a very important scope of our company. Being in the sales environment is very fast paced.

Cons: I had to relocate, there is currently no cons for me at this company.

How it is

There are much growth opportunities in the company. The work is very routine and doesnt differ much. The only difference would be seen when growing aerobic and anaerobic organisms with regards to their growth requirements.
