Loading and hauling different materials to different dumps and it is a good job with its own challenges like fatigue and long hours. I have required a skills mining programme certificate,competent A certificate and other skills

Great company to work for

I have learned a lot during my stay at Venetia mine, and I also got all my mining experience at DeBeers, I also got my blasting certificate through the DeBeers programme. They also helped me with my supervisory learnership

I have leaned to be patient when working in the production enviroment

i am female plant electrician working at Debeers venetia mine.my main responsibility is to maintain equipment e.g lights,conveyor motors,maintenance of substation, to install and maintain protection relays and fault finding in electrical circuit i am a hard worker who always reach the dead line in time,i can work alone but also a goo team worker,i have enjoy fault finding and working projects. my challenge is the pressure you get from production people when you are busy with breakdown

Debeers is changing from open pit to underground mine. Working there has a learning opportunity.

Debeers mine is changing from open pit to underground, with that new twin vertical and decline are being developed. Its a new learning curve to be part of the team which includes experienced contractors.

Excellent Learning curve

There the Working at De-Beers was an interesting thing I had in my life. I have learned very much skills at debeers. I participated in Electrical, Mechanic,, re is no reviewsare no reviews, Boilermaker and Fitting Skills
