Great FMCGexperience

Working for Danone has been something like an adventure. I've learnt so much over the last 4 years and it help my grow. In my current position everyone is a customer. From an in store merchandiser to a store owner. our master data team as well as our sales team. I learnt to treat everyone like the individual they are. Apply my customer service experience to every person I deal with. I've been fortunate to learn the overview or supply chain, new product launches as well as how the account teams work. I've been part of small project teams to improve customer service, dealing with a few export customers as well as massive customers buying in bulk or for individual stores. I will forever be greatful for the opportunity the hiring manager gave me at Danone.

Manage the customer relationship to enable smooth resolution of queries Facilitate service improvement projects with the customer) Internal Manage SLA’s with the customer facing teams and the specialist teams (order support, master data, billing & collections) Participate in regular open forum discussions with the customer facing teams by providing insight into customer behavior and highlighting anomalies Operations Management Ensure the correct level of attention is given to all customer account portfolios Take action to ensure customer queries are resolved within the specified service level agreements Follow up with customers when a query has been escalated Maintain customer service levels to > 94% and ensure value added customer service is achieve Represent the service centre as a customer champion and regularly engage with customer facing team Prepare management summaries to present to the CSC Manager

Execellent learning curve

Working at Danone SA has taught me alot.I know how to deal with difficult customers and can identify the different tones as soon as I take a call. It can be very challenging but it needs a person who is patient because you get sworn at.What I enjoy about my job is when my customers are happy with the solutions I come up with regarding their problems.

Pros: Great oppotunity if you want to move to Supply Chain.You get to know everything from the beginning
Cons: The work load but I always finish it.

Great learnings

Typical Day: Datat analysis, meetings with agencies, project and innovation planning and meetings (Danone has a lot of meetings) Relationship with co-workers: If there is one trait that I am good at it is relationship building. Our relationships are good, even through pressure and deadlines What Have I learnt: Relationships are important in order to deliver on business objectives at the end. Nothing we do in an organisation is done in isolation.

Cons: No direction on way forward

Started as a mixer and promoted to process operator currently i am a process technician

I do plant inspection,produce according to the goal set for me and attend departmental meetings,give the business daily report and where there is a need for improvement as well i involve myself further more i believe in continuous improvement and team building. Supporting each other within the team whereby there is a lack of information to other colleagues. My motto is Production first shouting later. And lastly i love working and studying hard to improve my lifestyle of living.
