I am hard working and female that always gives my best I believe a person learns something new everyday. My admin skills are good timing management is on point. Great academic institution

Head of Department Natural Sciences and teachinghshshHead of Department Natural Sciences and teaching Science to Gr 4, 5 & 6's. Typically artive at 06h15 and have a executive meeting. Teaching classes in the lab all day. Sport coaching in the afternoon. Normally home and family time by 16h00. Woodhill Collage is an IEB school from Grade RR to Grade 12. Best national IEB matric results two years running. We are very academicslly focussed but also find that the holistic approach of a well rounded student helps them to achieve Science to Gr 4, 5 & 6's. I enjoy a challenging environment and I look at setbacks as an opportunity for potential growth. I will be fully committed. I take great pride in my work. I am an enthusiastic worker. I can resolve conflict/issues (problem-solver), I stay calm in stressful situations and resolve the problem in a respectful, friendly, and professional manner. I am an ambitious individual, who loves expanding my existing knowledge and improving my personal growth – I love learning! Knowledge is power. I am a go-getter and very goal orientated. Self-discipline is one of my strongest personality traits, handling people with respect and always being professional.

Pros: Bonding with students, making a difference, LABOR OF LOVE, TEACHING CHILDREN TO REACH their fullest potential and I learn from them as well, they have so much love to give and eager to learn and making their teacher happy and proud. it is the best feeling in the end of the year to see how far each learner has come.
Cons: When you get sick and can't attend school, difficult parents or parents who doesn't seem to be interested in their children - It breaks my heart, lack of discipline.

Good environment

Pretty good environment, very balanced in terms of demographics although it could be better. The remuneration isn’t what you’d expect but it’s decent.

Cons: No opportunities for promotions unless you seek them out

Overall experience

The Parents Are racisit And Very Disrespectful ,No Appreciation even if you work ,And No Space To Grow you only grow if you Friends with the people in the management,Working Hours A Very Long .I Had A horrible experience working there

Learning curve (good and bad)

Typical work day includes mostly administration, most of it pointless and finally teaching and interacting with students. Relationship with co-workers is excellent, management a bit stuck in their own bubble/ways.

Pros: Great working hours, work-life balance
Cons: No room for growth/opportunity for career development

Fun, team-player, overcoming obstacles, the parents are challenging

The private school I have been working for, is a great school and I have learned a lot, BUT I am ready for the next chapter in my life, expanding my knowledge and grow as an Educator!

Long hours. Demanding parents.

Great company to work for. Limited perks make long term planning difficult. Be prepared to work very long hours and expect to serve very demanding parents.
