I doing credtors no for neerly 15 years . Work for big comanpnies . The basic àre the same but at every company the mode is differend Cum is the company with the most paper work I have been work for Sins I start work at Cum I did make a few sedations that changes and improved our work capacity . I learn a lot . I had learn how to do overseas payment and a new way of recons do . I met intresst people and get along with my colleges. As we are more the 15 in an open office you need to get respect one another I have the feeling that I get respect form my colleagues and we havr not an oain with each other . My boss and me also worked nice together .The company self look afther his workers I just feel its time for something new before i must retire and as an single working oersone I had to look after my self and need a better salary

Pros: At Cum every body is sitting in his or hers position their is no or very small changes to move forward . My collegae is going no because of getting no opportunity to get on se sits in the possion for more then 8 years doing the same day ofter day You not getting opportunity to learn something els . So their is no way to get on
Cons: We work from 8 to 5 Monday to Friday .At 8 when the bell rings you bneed to be at you desk until 10 when the bell rinnig for 10min tea time and be back at 10 pass when it ring again until 1 for 1hour lunch . at 2 back till 15h30 for tea time and then yntill 5 . Moste companies knock on Friday early of vut not Cum not even on n long weakend Cum is open between Christmas and New year .

I always maitain my work standard has good as i do , i can work without giving my manager hassles .

I love working with Customers , i do my all level best to satisfied my customers , as i know that customer comes first , i work very much happy with my co-workers as i do motivate them when i see they are down to tell them to take their work very seriously and put more concentration . I have learn that hard work doe'st kill in stand it pay , i dont do work for today and finish Morrow , i enjoy most when i reach my target for the day . Challenges ,when you serve a difficult customer ,who doe'st want to understand but is good to go down when Customer goes up , Customer is always right , show him or her fats not opinion .

Pros: Yes ,in my previous work i was promoted from one level to another
Cons: As a retail worker you must be ready to work very long hours

I love Customers alot and to give them the best advice and service I can communicate very well with customers ask questions iam funny Great to be around with and Iam a Team Player at times i answer the phone at times I work with money and do till work my relationship with co workers is very good at this moment I have learned go the extra mile to satisfy the CUSTOMER Working with money in this company is the most challenging the tipical working day it is very nice you can listen to christen music and watch videos at the same time yes the music gets to you and then the customers is pretty nice folk

Pros: The only pro is the company sells Christian stuff
Cons: Long workings Hours

Good for students studying part time.

A typical day would include Opening the store,carrying door keys Do some administration tasks,pint labels,check managerial reports,tidy up store before opening up,open store.Help clients with products,assist them in every area,work on the till..assist cashier Give feedback to manager..work on sales . It brings me great joy in helping customers find what they need at the current moment in there lives. I have a good relationship with the staff and higher management but feel overworked due to constant skeleton staff,There's not much to learn in the company and very slow growth .

Pros: Meeting people from all walks of life
Cons: Long hours,no staff transportation and under paid

Yes it as a learning curve in terms of customer service

I studied at the Tshwane University of Technology and did a National Diploma in Marketing and I am currently working at Cum Books as a supervisor and I have more than three year’s experience and my duties include training of staff, receiving clerk, customer service, checking of stock, invoices, daily maintenance of the shop, capturing customer information on the system, daily running on different departments in the store, cash ups and I am helping out as a cashier and all administration related duties

Pros: Yes but after a long time
Cons: We work 8 hours a day

Excellent learning

erythng WORKING AT CUMBOOKS WAS EXCELLENT BECAUSE ITS NOT ONLY WORK OPPORTUNITY THE ENVIRONMENT ITS SELF INVITE YOU TO WORSHIP THE LORD. OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE TO BE AN EXAMPLE BECAUSE EVERY PRODUCT RELATE TO GOD . IT IS GOOD TO WORK WITH THE TEAM STUFF AND MANAGERS . I DID LERAN LOT OF THINGS LIKE POS BUILDING SALES , ADD ON SALES, ADMIN ,CASHUP ,LOT OF SUPERVISOR DUTIES.. THTHE MOST CHALLENGING EXPECT OF THE JOB IS STOCKTAKE PREPARATIONS. department in t
