I advise,consult,implement, assess, drive all matters relating to (SHE)risk Safety, Health and Environment as well risk assessment Ensure adherence to these standards and compliance. Monitor implemented plans and controls via reports received on incidents reported. Ensure that the company standards are as current as possible and is in keeping with standards. Manage risk through reports received and conduct assessments within departments to ensure that risk is effectively managed and in this way as cost effective as possible. Coach and liaise with all affected parties both internal and external on safety, health, environment and risk related matters

Great learning curve

I've learned a lot at my company. I do get a long with all my co-workers. I'm always helping others. I'm good at working under pressure. Construction work is tough. I work with the labourers hours, I have to keep track of every one on site. Make sure all sick notes are received, placing orders, manage the telephone. I love what I do, but I strive for more opportunities.

It could be worse

I truly enjoy working here, and have gained a lot of knowledge, however after seven years - totalling 10+ years experience - I am still considered junior management, with no real hopes of promotion However, I do still have a job, and it could be worse

Pros: I get money for working here
Cons: Zero to no opportunity for promotion in my current position; poor communication from senior management; lack of uniformity with regards to rules and procedures

Great exposure

I enjoy working about the company. It's a great experience and definitely good skills for my CV. I’m a hardworking individual with a H.R Diploma seeking permanent employment in a dynamic company that offers scope for growth. I do have the ability to cope well under severe pressure and to meet strict deadlines.

Pros: We got annually bonus
Cons: No long hours
