Extend my capabilities

My main aim is to come to work and do what is required on a daily basis,calling clients and collecting monies overdue on my ageing.Making sure that i have accomplished what is required and more.I have come to no all staff in the current job i am at,Greeting each person and having a smile on my face is what people perceive me as,a happy person.Attending to emails fast and effective and not allowing my clients to wait .I enjoy calling my clients on a daily basis and allocating payments,this gives me an idea of clients still owing and calling them immediately as to why a certain invoice is still overdue.There is also a break from the buzz of dealing with clients according to your ageing at the switchboard once a month dealing with walk in clients and attending to incoming calls .I enjoy every aspect of what i do but want to be rewarded with a better salary and want to be able to provide properly for my family.

Cons: Deserve a better salary for what i am doing

Excellent learning curve

Checking of emails,pulling an ageing for overdues accounts and following up on those clients that haven't made payment as yet.Dealing with sales reps on problematic accounts.Sending out emails to clients on overdues,if no payment received then final demand and Form B gets done via accountability.Then we hand over the account.Doing accountability on new credit apps,i.e checks on business and client applying for a new account,Filing of these credit apps and rate sheets.Allocating of cash book and clients payments.Sending out invoices and statements when requested or when overdue.I have learnt to be sufficient in what i do,as i have been almost ten years in this position.The most challenging aspects is getting those monies,be it overdue in 120days and you get that monies from the client.Feeling of accomplishment.

Extraordinary experience

I am the kind of person when i get to work i am in a happy mood constantly which helps me tackle my day head on. i like to work with music on to get me focused and to get me through the day. I am the only guy in the office so i am basically the go to guy when it comes to checking the pc's and filing , i would think that my co-workers see me as their big brother or elders son. Well i have studied motor mechanics after my schooling years and now i am working in a Finance department i have learned a lot from my peers in this 4 years. I enjoy coming to work and seeing all the smiles on the faces of the people and when we reach deadlines that the highlights of my day. The most challenging thing is working on the system we have at work Oracle , it is a working progress but its trials and errors.

Pros: Love working before working time cause then it is quiet and i can get a lot done.
Cons: When i get started with something then i tend to loose track of time and sometimes end up going after hours to get it done.

Like challenge

Teaching and training colleagues is part of my enjoyment in my current company. I learned that respect goes a long way and is earned.the most challenging thing is to get the days work on a daily basis when we have problem with the system.

Excellent learning curve

I Was working Monday to Friday I enjoyed working with Courier it, i had a good relationship with my co_workers we were always happy I 've learn a lot from that company, i learn how to treat other people and how to handle the conflict of company The most thing i was enjoying is when there's a upgrade of work, because i was learning many things everyday The Most challenging aspects of job is when the system is slow or running out of ink it was challenging because we don't work, and the day system is perfect the work become too much

Good Time Management

A typical day at work for me includes having to work under high pressure and yet being able to keep calm and have control. Helping colleagues despite your workload as we work together as a team. I enjoy the hours that I work as it gives me time for my personal life and is quite flexible. I have learnt alot as well about the logistics industry and clientele.

Skill development curve

Excellent place to develop interpersonal skill,helps with time management and meeting deadlines, as you placed in a specific company with no manager around, one learns to be independent, problem solving skills and to be your own leader/manager

Good learning experience

I work with collections, booking them and issuing them to drivers. I also work with PODs, capturing and scanning them. I ensure clients get their parcels in good condition and in due time Also solve queries regarding deliveries, collections and PODs

Pros: Opportunity to learn and grow, promotion
Cons: Few employees, lack of help

Excellent Learning curve to grow and to become the best I can be.

- A typical work day comes with challenges and excitement, each day at work is a learning curve. - My relationship with co-workers are flexible, I keep it friendly, polite and professional. - I have learnt to think criticaly, to focus at the finer details to ensure that my work is 100%. - What I enjoyed most about the Job is to learn about the work process, the people I have met and to exceed the companies expectations. - The most Challenging aspect of the Job is working under pressure.

I learned how to work with VIP pay roll as well as

Working for a courier company as an admin clerk is very interesting because you get to know how to work with numbers because i am working in a HR department we work with employ numbers, and everything we do is confidential so that teaches me to be professional when it comes to my work. my relationship with my co-workers is good because we work as a team we help each other especially when it come to excel spreadsheet we need to help each other because we working with figures and formulas.
