Working in my current company its learning new things everyday and there is opportunity to further part-time studies. opportunities to attend local and international conference.my relationship with co-workers it is very excellent we learn from each other everyday. I learned to be persistent, organizing in time and learn a lot from colleagues and learn to be patient and review reports and being a task leader for project, monthly and quarter reports, published articles on the work we do. i enjoy discussions and presentations to learn from my colleagues and participate in stakeholders meetings. the most challenging aspects of the job it that there is no growth with regard to salary increment and allowance to work in different projects.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn new technologies and new aspects in the Environmental field
Cons: I m willing to work long hours which will help me to grow and gained experiences on new fields

Purchasing units communicate goods and services required to SCM. I then start the procurement process ensuring compliance to all policies, procedures and processes in order to have successful acquisition of the requirement. This process involves many stakeholders as a result great inter-communication skills are required. One has to be flexible, personable and proactive to ensure success throughout the procurement process. Accountability is very important and record-keeping of all dealings is painful but crucial in this field. I enjoy the fast paced environment, dealings with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Supplier performance management is challenging so one has to be clear and available to handle arising hiccups regarding the requirements through the procurement process.

Cons: Changes that occur e.g. a change or addition in the requirement communicated during or after the procurement process has been initiated

Excellent learning curve

on a normal wok day first thing i do when i get to work is to plan my day and make sure that all that i have noted down i deliver on them and complete on that day, if not, i start with them the following morning. If there are reports to be compiled for a process to be completed , i focus on them and make sure they are done. Customer service is the most important aspect in the field of SCM , the end users must always be kept updated at all times with whatever they have requested, which builds up to a very healthy working relationship with them and also makes your job easier along the way, which is something i enjoy and mostly , i enjoy the challenges i encounter on daily basis because i learn alot on how to resolve them and have learnt so much that i can now think, act and conduct myself in a respectable manner and that has made me grow as an individual

Excelent learning curve

Its quite eye opening because you are exposed to a lot of fields at housed in a single work place. The work place promotes environment for learning from great experts from the field along with working in great teams that have are highly motivated and determined.

In my current position i supervise staff so i am exposed to working with different dynamic people

BECAUSE OF MY WORK AS A SUPERVISOR I AM ALWAYS ON MY FEET I AM THE NEXT PERSON TO BE CALLED WHENEVER SOMETHIN GOES WRONG OR A STAFF MEMER IS NOT AT WORK AND NEED TO FILL IN AT TIMES I SOMETIMES AM FORCED TO DISCIPLESTAFF IN MY SECTION I ALWWAYS NEED TO PROVIDE TRAINING WHENEVER THERE IS A NEW STAFF MEMBERS I GET AN EXPOSURE TO OPERATE DIFFRENT WORK MACHINES AND SYSTEMS THAT WE USE TO OPEARTE OUR WORK I ALSO WORK WITH CANTEEN WHICH IS ALSO GIVING ME AN EXPOSURE TO THE PROS AND CONS OF THE FOOD INDURY

Excellent service

I would discuss the matter in person. I enjoy working in Hr and in the process learned so much more than I ever expected. I realized that you need to have the compassion for people and show it how you treat them. Not every one is the same. I've also learned a lot of the HR processes for example how to advertise positions, do the shortlisting and to invite the candidates.
