Been a very good environment to hone my management skills, this includes sales and adapting to a corporate environment. Every day is focused on driving sales,Performance accountability has been a contributing factor to my sales success. Communication between branches is vital as we work as a team and motivate each other on sales and short falls are discussed, and solutions are shared. Internally i treat my staff fairly and adopt an open door policy, and do not take kindly to favoritism. Delegation always proves vital on a daily basis. I enjoy dealing with customers and driving the sales. I also enjoy campaign launches as this gives new drive to the sales team. The most challenging area of my work was to manage daily pressure, this was, handling customers, staff and head office queries, as well as to maintain the positive outlook on the sales front. But to overcome this I had to become more admin oriented and refine my self management sklls..

Pros: challenging working environment, with potential for growth. most weekends off
Cons: nepotism, long working hours, too corporate as managers who run the stores are not heard

I am learning a lot when it comes to training and I'm still willing to learn more

Every day I make sure that learners attendance registers are signed correctly in order for me to send them to payroll for them to get their payment as they get paid weekly. I check what deliverables I have outstanding from each programme e.g discretionary or mandatory training that I still need to submit. I enjoy being part of training because it feels like I'm helping an individual to discover a skill that they did not know existed in them. I'm giving them something better to uplift and develop themselves. I work very work with my co- worker especially because the training department comprises of only two staff members. They make sure that I learn to do everything there is to know about training from WSP to Skills development training. The most challenging part is when it come to time for submission of documents to SETA. I have to work very accurately and pay attention to detail.

Excellent learning experience

Admin make sure that everything is in order the cash up, accurate cash float in the till, enough sample for costumers, order books are there and following up on orders. I loved working with my co-workers they were very friendly and made me fill home when I first started working, they should me the ropes patient with me and made sure they answered all the questions I had A lot about furniture that I didn't know what goes into making it, that they're are all kinds of leather and fabric, woods and mattress. Sales dealing with customers in personal levels some come in expecting you to help them from the start and telling them the pro's and cons about furniture and never lying to a costumer of you can't deliver when they expect things. Customers feed back about my good service and recommending friends and family to my shop and seeing a satisfied customer always When costumer consultant wanted me to do my job and there's

Good company to work, great experience

Working at in the Coricraft group has been a blessing. the culture is good. We are results driven company that cares about the employees and the growth of the company. This is a company that is growing and this is an advantage to us because there is a lot of room to implement new things in the company that will assist the company to reach goals in an effective way. My relationship with co-workers is good, we work well together and we care about one another. At our Team building session we learned about each other's strengths and we try to bring those out. My experience has taught me a lot about paying attention to detail, we work with confidential information and contracts any mistake can cost the company money. The most challenging aspect of my job is doing store visits because we have a lot of stores across the country.

Productive, motivational

I ensure the sales force are driven, motivated and exceeding targets. It is vital that I succeed in everything I do. In 2017 I increased sales by 59% compared to the previous year. In 2018 thus far I’ve increased our figures by 44%. Activities include: - stock management - end of day procedures - health and safety - Human Resources reporting - archiving - compiling reports - use of in-house computer software - extensive use of microsoft office such as excel, word, PowerPoint, etc. - customer service - visual merchandising - implementing policies and procedures accurately I have mastered my role in retail and looking for a new challenge. I am currently running two branches and have been tasted to run stock takes at branches nation wide as my accuracy, ability to investigate discrepancies and attention to detail make me a trusted employee. I am ready to take on a new role and therefore broaden my skills.

Working hours 8:00 - 15:00 Senior management level Limited travel Exposure to all operational and product related meetings and processes Worked in retail, merchandising, buying, manufacturing planning Detailed workings on budgets, sales forecasts, procurement, stock management, people management, range reviews, forecast planning, factory planning, store layouts and replenishment, reporting Very excel based and basic systems - busy implementing new systems and processes to go more digital

Pros: Mostly able to work on my time. Strong team in my department. Good working hours. Decent salary.
Cons: Reached my ceiling. Unsafe area to work in. Long travels to work. Limited structure and direction. Management culture lacking. Additional benefits lacking. Bonus structure unachievable.

It was very excellent

we worked from 8-4:30pm and we were working very good with the employees and were getting along with each other,i've also learned that working as a team its good because you benefit from your team mates,i also enjoyed working with them because you learn something new everyday and the most challenging aspect of the job it was to make sure that all the files are on the safe side and no missing files.

Excellent team

Coricraft is a company that markets home furniture. We have a team of great sales consultants that makes the best deal. Coricraft is the best furniture company I've come across, the have great experience in furniture and I love working there.

A happy working environment creates happy customers

A typical day at work starts with emsails,meetings, follow up on orders, Filinthereg, admin, security checks, stock loss, customer service and staff welfare. I believe that happy staff create happy customers that creates sales. Integrity is very important.

Pros: Promotion is possible but not if you stay in kler
Cons: After sales are difficult If stock is discontinued
