Learning curve for me definitely .The work in industry compared to an accounting firm is totally different.I handle more of HR matters at present.Teamwork is important.

Good experience

Good experience since involved in both the financial and operation facets of the businesses. Numerous group companies therefore exposure to more than one industry

Good experience in retail/manufacturing industry

Typical work day oversee creditors ,vat workings,follow up on HR matters,reconciliation of diesel bills,directors personal credit cards.electricity and water bills,telkom bills calculation and update of staff annual leave. Good relationship with all workers.

Pros: convenice for travelling to home and work

Good learning experience that you have to do on Your Own. Unprofessional Management.

Giving your 200% goes unnoticed and unappreciated. Don't pay well. No sense of leadership or proper management structure. To get critical things done, you literally have to beg management. Too many different departments tasks are given to 1 person to handle without any extra credit and no guidance.

Pros: You get good opportunities where you can learn aspects and apply them accordingly
Cons: Poor work ethics. No benefits. No bonus. No increases. Hazardous working environments.
