Interesting place to work - hard work, low salaries, long hours

Hours - 8-5 Busy season - everyone helps everyone to get the work load out CEO very user friendly and approachable How to identify people who are willing to learn and and grow and identify people who are not prepared to try grow and improve themselves but always complain. What I enjoy most is the environment Working with a few very difficult people - this calls for people and leadership skills

It has been a huge learning curve

Work from home Only deal with clients which is great Ilove to upskill but working for myself has been extremely challenging. There is no "off" day - if I don't give 100% every day, I don't earn money. The freedom of working for myself THe most challenging is that I never get a day off, cannot take leave, and if I lose clients, I lose income

Pros: I get to work from home
Cons: If I lose clients, I lose income - I prefer a full time secure job

Progresive worker

Good day manager I have about 20 years work experience as a millwright and 3 years as a Draughtsman. I offer to work on contract basis at R300 / h with your software and R5 / km. I have solved many engineering problems aswell as designed and manufactured many items to improve equipment.

Training and Construction projects

I am actively involved in electrical projects as well as training/facilitating contractually. I am versed in domestic and industrial installations, electrical and mechanical engineering. In training I work freelance, Moderator, Assessor, Train The Trainer Facilitator, electrical heavy current and mechatronics are my qualifications and extend my scope in training to cover studies for electrical, mechanical and technical training(emergency/fire/health and safety)

Great companies to work for.

Being a contractor allows yountonwork in various environments from ground level up to corporates. There's no such thing as a normal day for us as we live for new challenges every day whether being in a trench to sitting in a board room at a technical or progress meeting.

Challenging work in a challenging industry

- No 2 projects are ever the same - All work with clients are deadline-driven, therefore all relationships revolve around this fact - The availability of consulting work is dependent on disposable income of organisations and is therefore infrequent The amount of operational change that can be accomplished in a project is staggering, and is rewarding
