A typical work day consists of receiving information ,looking at stack dates , vessel availability , transport , follow up of loading instructions and updating of files . I am a team player but i can also work on my own . I have learnt to be more focused and attention to detail. I enjoy my 3 month grape project i do every year in Namibia . What i find most challenging is that you cant predict the weather so we have during our winter season , ports being wind bound , vessels omitting , cargo not on protocol for loading out , this is things beyond your control .

Pros: structured , working according polices and procedures
Cons: 24 hours on stand by , when its season time you loose out on family time but this is what the industry is all about .

Bookkeeper

Costing, cashbooks, creditors, debtors, general ledgers, journals, financial statements, management/year-end reports, statutory returns and bookkeeping can be listed as part of my experience and knowledge. My strong points are accuracy and I have a flair for detail.
