Encourages self learning

Typical workday of a controls and drives technician includes liasing with other departments to discuss current projects such as upgrading SCADA systems and other controls devices upgrades. Second level support is provided to electrical maintenance prior escalating to central support in Germany. Over the years I've developed a good working relationship with all customers, be it production or maintenance due to my willingness to help and determination to solve problems. I've learnt over the years that nothing determines success more than attitude hence I humble myself to learn from everyone and never stop acquiring knowledge on my field. I enjoy problem solving and challenging myself to be better in what I do. The long hours spent at work including weekends is the most challenging aspect and night shift.

Would like to be able to learn and earn more

I'm currently providing stock to tyre builders... Working shifts. I would like a company that is for their people and listen to them and push them to do and go further in life and within a company... Also where everyone is seen as equal and treated fairly . We are given the opportunity to study but so far not many people got answers or the opportunity.what I don't like is that it's basically the same thing over and over it's very stressful and alot of pressure can be put on us, a typical day will be me coming in checking the floor And doing checks of tow motor and stock reporting to my manager answering calls etc....like I said I work shifts and some weekends 6 6. What I have learned in this work space is to just come to work and make sure you do your work properly and trust no-one I think that speaks for itself

Excellent learning experience

Bbbbbbbbvvimits to our machinery,what I've learnt is that technology just keeps on improving and in the engineering field u have to adapt and keep on improving the modern machinery /technology which I am introduced to, I enjoy working with my colleagues as a team to improve the workplace to become as efficient as possible, the most challenging aspects of my job would be working under pressure to make production targets with limited staff on hand, a typical work day is always full of surprises and new challenges when the production introduces new goals to produce different to the norm products, testing the limits to our machinery,what I've learnt is that technology just keeps on improving and in the engineering field u have to adapt and keep on improving

Self motivated and obedient

I am responsible, self-motivated individual, committed to achieving high starndard of competence in whatever I pursue. I enjoy challenges as reflected with my current position where I have to act amd think fast in making sure I meet my deadlines with work. I am always eager to grasp new skills easily, time and meeting my delivarables are a major priority to me in my carreer.

Excellent learning experience

As an Engineering training my work responsibilities most of the times included fixing machines when there is a breakdown and maintenance of equipment for better quality of the tires and also to reduce or prevent Accidents on site

Pros: Great company for gaining a well rounded experience in engineering
Cons: Too much work and little time for actually finishing the work.

Working in a diverse and dynamic environment with a team with a drive for success

The company is international from Germany a Tyre Company. I have gained a lot of experience working with people from different countries overseas and here in our own country. I enjoy working with people especially operators My creativity is what makes me stand out. It is the most important leadership skill. I can creatively solve present and future problems. I learned that they are the ones who actually know what is the problem with regards to processes and they product and they also have ideas as well I a I gained a skill to take initiative, leading, managing people, enhanced my creativity with helps me lead better than anyone.

Continuous Development

Great organization to be a part of , lots of learning opportunities and individual development Constant changing market environment, new opportunities everyday , exploring of different areas and typesnof customers . Most challenging part is due to market activity ,sjnce is since im selling a premium product success on sales determines on what the market says .

Pros: Great exposure internal and external environments
Cons: unlimited working hours
