My Job at Computacenter

My working environment is a learning environment, everyday you learn something and you are often faced with very difficult situations and you have to rely on your training and instincts a lot. I have wonderful colleagues and we have a collaborative relationship. I have learnt to trust my gut, speak up when I feel something does not sit right with me and also to self develop myself.

Pros: Market Related Salary. Gained strong leadership skills as a Shift Leader
Cons: Long working hours:12 hour shifts. No balance between work an family time 24/7 365 environment. Horrible shift structure

In any cooperate business a learning mind is key

Computacenter is a very high paced IT service provider to a variety of UK based clients. Excellency is the key and 100 % is a norm. For the CC team to maintain a good IT service support and customer service,we as a team engage on a confident level to each other with respect to learn from one another daily as challengers increase. With that I have learnt collected sticks are not easy to break,team work wins in a busy environment. I have learnt that in IT moving ahead with innovation is a priority that enables a business to grow financial,allowing any business support to be at the palm of overcoming challenges.

Cons: 12 hour shift
