Working with Community Media Trust has been awesome as I see it allowing me self development and awareness.A typical work day is characterised with identifying new gaps in the communities we live in and helping young people to fill in those gaps using their own creativeness . At CMT (Community Media Trust) we all inculcate the culture of family hood where every staff member is a brother ,sister ,father and a mother.We respect and value each other the way a family does. I have learnt that when you are working with the public you must have an open mind to other peoples views and respect their perspectives.I enjoy seeing an idea /dreams of other people coming to reality addressing some real challenges we face everyday. Failure to pay back some loans by other clients and having to come up with payment plans that suit them,was one of the challenging aspect of the job

Excellent learning curve i have learnt about different type of chronical illnesses

Dear Sir/Madam I work direct with community members which helps me improve my community development experience and the organization allows one to grow in all levels there is no limit in learning. i started as a community mobilizer and i have been promoted to be a community referral officer where i serve as a linkage between the community and other stalkholders around the communities

Pros: I was promoted from being a community Mobilizer to a referral officer there is growth within the organization
Cons: i work a normal 8 to 4 but as a referral officer its in my duty to work flexible hours to the type of work i do

I have learned to work with deadlines, working as an individual and as a team

Working at community media trust has been a challenge that help me learn so much about myself and also better myself in fields I didn't know. My responsibilities were to recruit, facilitate young girls between the ages of 10-24 years.i learned to do filing and paperwork, learned to work towards tight deadlines, my communication skills improved and so it My confidence. I learned to be a hard worker,to work by myself and also in teams.

Great work ethic

Attending sessions in schools, facilitating on healthy choices program. Writing of daily reports. Referrals for girls and young women. Great team work Withstanding challenges of being unable to conduct sessions due to time schedules in schools Spending time with young people who shares their views about life Improved quality of presentation Challenges include not having receptive learners that want to change

Great career exposure

I'm not working

I am not working currently so i can't say anything about any company. My previous job was good: I got to interact with customers and sell the products. Some customers were kind and some not but I never gave up.

Great learning opportunity,

Great team building,okay supervision, flexible hours, opportunity to grow, opportunities to meet new people, poses a risk for health in terms of covid, pressurises employees into vaccinating
