Daily admin work at the coffee shop we where working as a team and individually, I learnt management skills and liaising with customers, handling of cash and phone mamners, the most challenging aspects is when we have a customer complain but with the amazing team we had we made sure no customer should leave the premise not happy I learnt to solve customer complain and we cared for our customers.

I've learnt management skills

I was working as a cashier taking orders from customers and making sure our customers are always Happy all the time when it's quite I packed fridges making list of stock we need and sanitizing the counter all the time,cashing up and taking phone orders as employees we worked as a team to make a successful company i've learnt alot I was given a chance to superviser it was challenging and a good learning curve for me solving customer complain and making sure orders where right on time I was an all rounder helping in the kitchen,waitresses and the barista I enjoyed working there until the company was franchised.

Pros: I was promoted as an acting supervisor

Excellent in learning

A very busy and active position demanding a well spoken and presented person who gives attention to details. receiving and welcoming customers and place them in comfort. managing time in placing oder and delivering the service in a friendly manner

I Don't get bonus, not paid overtime, not paid holiday rate. Good working with colleges Learnt to work with colleges in different situations Working for a difficult owner who stole the money and blamed it in us. Worked long hours without enough time to rest I enjoyed working with the staff . Learnt that unity at work is one thing that can make things happen

Different type of Industry

A typical work day includes counting the stock in the store room as well as the frozen stock and other dry items. Listing the stock three times a week for orders to be made by the owner. I do enjoy working together with all the restaurant staff, as they are very geniun and down to earth people, I therfore share a very possitive relationship with all co-workers. Collecting stock from our store room and taking it to the shop/restaurant can become a challenge especially physically, since I'm not a youngster anymore. However this is good exercise. Since I'm used to being in control and making most decisions as well as solving problems, I had to learn to humble myself and to remember that I have report every little thing.

Pros: None
Cons: Terrible salary. Working every weekend.
