Challenging but rewarding expirience

My day at work entails; - Extracting aging and preparing the list of problematic accounts to work on and do telephonic follow up on outstanding amounts. - Allocation of payments , invoicing and calculation of adjustment invoices, preparing refunds , credit notes and debit notes. - Prepare weekly report of problematic accounts and liaise with key account managers to intervene when required. The relationship with my colleagues is great as we work well together and are very collaborative. I have learnt to be open minded about changes that often happens in our industry and not be afraid to learn a new skill in a different department to broaden my knowledge and I enjoy the opportunities to stretch myself and learn more within the organisation. The most challenging aspect of the job is ensuring the target is met and collections is maximized.

Good company to work for.

Family environment, good perks and exposure at group level. Flexi hours depending on your personal schedule. Some departments are too demanding, exepcted to work after hours which is not friendly for people with families or studying etc.

Pros: Exposure and learning a lot
Cons: Flat structure so promotion chances are slim.
