Coca-Cola South Africa Reviews

Sales representative on the field or externally

I have started to work at cocacola shanduka on the year 2015 as a machindiser order taker with no sales experience. They took me to trainings and learn more about sales on the field. And within the period of six month i was excelling in my job and had understanding then i got promoted to became an account manager. I have worked well with my co-workers and it was a great team, as we always help one another on every challenge we meet on our different trades. Biggest challenge i had with with my manager whom always want things to be solved by his way, he was not support, he discriminate and abusive. The company was a good place to be, i have leaned a lot on sales and that is something that is in me.

Pros: Overtime working makes you to become creative and skilled so that you can manage time.
Cons: I was travelling a distance of about 100km daily. Before that while i was in coca-cola shanduka. I used to attend +-40 shops daily. Knocking off late. Driving in the dark. But i end up get used to it

It’s a great experience opportunity

My typical day at work is producing the required volumes of product and doing tests throughout the production to ensure that the product produced is safe for consumer consumption. My relationship with co-workers is great , we in a nice working environment and we respect each other. What I love the most about my job is the responsibility that it comes with, it keeps me on my toes. What I don’t like about it, is that it’s very repetitive. It doesn’t challenge me or makes me grow.

Pros: Great working environment
Cons: Long hours during peak times
