First career experience

The hours were great, had be at work at 9-10am the knocked off at 7pm. Very cool and laid back working environment even though it was odd being mostly around old people. My relationship with my co-workers was vet surface level, respectful and friendly..I learnt work ethic and discipline and how to produce a radio show. I enjoyed researching and inviting guests to interview and meeting prominent people in their different fields. The challenging part though was having to know and understand business news. I had to be in top of my game at all times. d

Pros: Good pay for a student
Cons: Transport was an issue

Great working environment. I had a great time working with different , buyers and planners.

Great working environment . Communicating with clients on a daily basis. I have learnt that communication is key, better irritate someone in finding what they mean that assume. It's tough having to work in a chain form and having deadlines. As the saying the chain is as tough as its weakest link. If there is one person dragging their feet your work suffers a great deal. Meeting and working with different people was my greatest moments.

Pros: Good working environment
Cons: Unpredictable day.

Learning

The salary is not commensurate to the tasks at hand. We have to do more with less, which is taxing physically and otherwise. But this is quite a nice platform to work with as we build relationships everyday given the calibre of guests we host.

Pros: More to learn
Cons: Long hours
