My growth has been quite exponential

My typical work day includes managing and developing a team of 4 trainers and 2 counter coaches. I also do administrative duties, review and adapt all training material and tools and liaise with our Paris office. I have and excellent relationship with most of my co-workers, with most of my former reports still coming to me for career advice and solutions. In my time at Clarins, I have learnt the role of Sales in a company and the more technical aspects of Training. Working for a demanding boss has also brought out certain personal skills and competencies that I believe I will need for my future. What I enjoy the most about my job and my previous roles within the company has been the feeling of accomplishment that comes from completing projects. I also enjoy working with different people and with different departments. The most challenging aspect of my job has been not having enough autonomy in my job, due to the nature of my reporting structure.

Pros: Learning about a different aspect of the business and consistent exposure to Global (Paris) office
Cons: Lack of autonomy and transparency

Opportunity to learn through Linkin

Clarins South Africa is a nice wirking environment with friendly people whi always smiles and ready to assist whenever you need need help. As empowering employees they offer allocation for all permanent stuff which is done quarterly.

Beautiful company to work for. Excellent learning curve. Good at grooming

Beautiful luxury brand to work for,excellent staff and management. Great company to work for. Continuous training for staff so they relate correct information to customers.

Pros: Great trainings,informative area managers. Hard working individual
Cons: Its not easy to get promoted.

Persuasive, challenging

Their training and launches are outstanding, enjoyable and very understanding. They take courage and determination when they train us to be the best. I have learned how to work in team , how to deal with challenges of higher targets and to beat my competitors. I enjoy making sales because more commission for me. When I reach my target quarterly the allocation goes up.The biggest challenge is to make sure I reach my target on a daily basis to make monthly one. It’s a typical work because it doesn’t have new thing to do every day except same thing each new month, which is making sure I make a target , like I start all over again, what I was doing last month I have to repeat it again on a new month. Persuading customers to buy perfumes.

Pros: Bonus end year, allocation and gifts
Cons: Exhausting ,going extra mile to make it
