My journey with Cityvarsity

CityVarsity is like my home away from home , the people here are family .I basically grew up here. I was only 19 years old when i landed my first job with this company and lets just say the rest was history , i just fell in love with the history and culture of this institute. For a long time i was known around campus as the baby

Pros: Meeting new students and not working weekends
Cons: relationship between management and workers are not good

It a perfect place to grow wisely in learning new work ethics.

being at city varsity has been the best experience for me, and i am learning so much about hoe one should contain herself in a corporate world. and how to treat your co-workers work as a team as well as individual, how to meet your dearly target without going through pressure. At City Varsity i came to work as a Receptionist only but they've taught me building administration, sales administration and operations assistance they have groomed me so much. to become a better person.

Excellent learning curve

I think that I only took lunch twice in the last seven years and in that time there has also been no annual increases. I have learnt to achieve performance goals under the most difficult and stressful circumstances without being provided with the necessary tools required to do my work.

Always be positive, upgrading oneself makes me more versatile.

Amazing dealing with over 120 students, parents/fee payers and lecturers. Administration can be time consuming, but my job is more than just admin, its Project management 101. Finding solutions to problems is the core of my job and that is what I am skilled at. What I have learnt here being surrounded by students, never give up, never let doubt take over or overshadow, be brave and take each day as it comes. Above all learn, keep on learning as this is the key to life, to ask the questions when you do not know the correct answer. My relationship with my co-workers is one of how can I make life easier, simpler, better so that we can all move forward and that our students are our main concern, their education and their well being.
