The ability to identify safety hazards

always challenges to face, 12hrs shifts feel short and you can always find something to pass the time, if not housekeeping then efficiency improvement, the ability to identify and eliminate process safety hazards.to co-ordinate or to work with multiple companies and skill sets during shutdowns to achieve safe and incident or injury free securement and handover.of units of equipment upon completion of worklist or job scope. having the opportunity to take part in and also write up and review operating procedures. finding possible risk or areas of exposure in procedures and mitigate the risk

Pros: being a part of something that carries meaning and also affects every life in South Africa.
Cons: no room for assumption or errors. making a mistake could have dire consequences on lives or health as well as profits

An organization worth working in

Working in my organization has been good, it has exposure me in many different environment and I have learned. The culture of the organization is very open and also always for growth and development. My job allows me to travel to various countries and perform projects there of which has allowed me to grow more in the industry I operate in.

Pros: Great exposure in various projects across diffeent organization
Cons: flat structure in certain department and no chances of moving up the ladder

An execellent work experience

The organization has granted me great work experience and I have been able to learn a lot in the work im doing. I have had the opportunity to travel to many locations and perform audit work which has able me to grow. The organization has granted me the opportunity to learn a lot about the industry I am in.

Attending the Safety meeting with the contractors.

Attending the Safety meeting with the contractors. Having Project Kick off meeting with the contractor management. Doing the site inspections. Conduction Hazard Identifications for work. Write a safety plan for the project. Conduction Safety Inductions. I enjoy Safety Induction training. Is to get the Supervisors to understand their critical part and the responsibility when it comes to safety. A very good company to work for though. Very good safety culture.

Pros: Very good comapny to work for, very goood safety culture.
Cons: Sometime the systems are too complicated.
