● Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment with minimal down time ( chain & roller conveyors, SEW drives, sensors, electrical fault finding, pneumatic pumps & welding) ● Planning and executing a documented preventative maintenance system in conjunction with the Plant Manager. ● Daily Inspect, record and report information that may impede the operation of the plant. ● Ensure that all electrical and mechanical equipment are operating in strict accordance with Government and Company Rules and Regulations ● Practice safe working procedures in accordance with the statutory regulations and OHS Act ● Ensure general maintenance and repairs are completed in accordance to laid-down procedures. ● Appointed as the competent person as required by the statutory regulation. ● Sourcing of maintenance spares and equipment required. ● Adheres to the company’s safety policy and procedures.

Excellent job security

The work environment is fast paced and thus very stressful. The workers and office culture is quite professional, however it is very friendly and open. I enjoy the relationships the workers have with each other, they provide professional and personal support to each other. The job is quite challenging since it mostly requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good experience and learning curve

The day will being with meetings and update of what is required of us as employees, with my good co-workers i was the favorite due to i was the team player and very supportive to ones need to sure that work continues well and smooth. I learn that time is very importance and pushing hard to complete the task was what i enjoyed as the Adrenalin will rush the excitement and speed to complete the task in hand and well. also making sure that accurate is involved minimize the mistake, most challenging will be filling least appreciated but doing a very excellence job.

I am looking to apply my skills more effectively

In my current position i am employed as a Business Manager. The objectives include managing customer relationship (retention) , Business development, actively seeking new opportunities and assisting customers in reviewing their business and selling our value preposition as a solution to improve the clients business. I work well with my colleagues in terms of reporting, building rapport, and encouraging them to work together effectively to attain our corporate objectives. I have learned to win early and lose early, to chase the low hanging fruit that could help me reach my goals and also work tirelessly on opportunities that require more effort. I enjoy engaging people and working through the complexities of our business. The challenges are that we are a global organisation and many times, decision making has many tiers which can slow down the process and momentum.

Pros: Strong presence in the industry, it is truly a one of a kind business.
Cons: Repetitive,admin intensive.

Blue pallets all day 7:30 to 17:00

Get along with all employee's multiples cultures, working as a team doing most of the OHSE specialist work since his never on site, would like a jon like that as well, instead of a office job all day
