A typical day for a safety manager

Well a typical workday for me starts at 08h00 sharp. with a friendly smile i always greet all the colleagues in the office. then i head off to my office , laptop out and on. going through all my emails received and making sure that i reply and follow up on all my day to day activities from , HSEQ audits done for new sites. then scheduling meetings on site with the site managers and clients to make sure that all the sites are legally compliant and that everything is in place and that all clients are happy with the current situation on site. most challenging part of my job is actually making sure that the entire company is legally covered all the time , this could be challenging due to the fact that we have so many sites running and to make sure that all my line managers are always on point and not missing anything on ground level can sometimes be challenging

Excellent learning curve

I have been in construction for more than 20 years now and know my work very well. Have worked on and off site with my teams and always did a job well done.
