Caxton Magazine Reviews

Retrenched

A typical day starts at 7 am with getting the ball rolling for the days work ahead. Then its taking care of anything and everything comes in until 3 pm when it is home time. I get along with everyone and always look for better ways to communicate for better results. I have learnt that every day is never the same. Always be willing to learn something new and to add to your workload. I have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the digital age and platform. The most challenging is furthering my career without having any certificates and qualifications in the digital industry. Digital came after I had established myself in the print industry. And with technology growing the way it is, furthering your education is not cheap. All you can do is make a plan to learn the industry. Then you back at square one where you need solid experience before they will overlook the fact you don't have the diplomas.

Pros: Learning something new everyday
Cons: not getting the acknowledgement for work done

At caxton I had the duty to plan, organize& execute events we had fun.

What i learnt on my previous job was that I'm a good manager not only for financial gain but morale the team I worked faith began to see work as fun and produced high levels of concentration and dedication towards the cause

Pros: I had ideas and they paid off well
Cons: They were greedy and didn't sign me on a permanent contract
