Great challenges, learning new possibilities, it was out of my comfort zone (in a good way)

I did the batches of the orders every morning and sent it off to our warehouse. I admire and adore my colleagues, we all got along great (I'm close friends with the CEO as well). Even though I entered this job as a mere Data Capturer, I have been promoted from that to Operations Assistant and y current position is Sales and Warehouse Assistant. I never thought I'd ever go into Ops as what I've studied for was Proofreading. The most challenging aspect of the job was stock control. Not only did I have to keep an eye on the warehouse Picking and Packing our orders, but I had to make sure there was always enough stock. This is my favourite job so far and I'm incredibly sad to be leaving, but I did learn a lot.

All the perfect people but a concept that the target market struggled to understand.

Every day was different. There were constant projects and sales drives to boost profit. The environment was quaint, relaxed yet target driven. It was an absolute thrill working there. The fact that every employee was shifted to slot into a different department at least twice a week (to help achieve deadlines) was fantastic.

Pros: Constant learning and training in various aspects of the business, transparency from management
Cons: The company closed 30 September 2016

I have learned how the office environment works and how businesses grow. I have also learned how to communicate with people,colleagues and clients on a daily basis and how important it is to make the right decisions when it comes to the business.

Pros: Great opportunity to grow and gain knowledge
Cons: Hard work and sacrifice
