New challenges every day. Broad customer base.

Company with big potential and growth opportunities. Head office based in Rosebank, JHB with most of the company functions centralized. At branch level the management style and expectations differs from region to region due to customer activity, industries and culture. Staff are all well trained and work strictly to company policies and procedures. Cartrack provided vehicle tracking solutions to individuals, fleet owners and corporate clients. The needs differs from client to client and Cartrack will provide a solution to fulfill all the needs of the client. Biggest challenge is to provide tracking solutions to large vehicle rental companies, putting a lot of pressure on technical staff 7 days a week.

Excellent leaning curve

I've learn alot from working at cartrack. Doing general filling, sending emails responing to clients queries, helping walk in clients, coldcalling ect.

In house accredited training centre ie : word,excel,office etc

My typically day starts with phone calls at about 5 am with someone reporting late or sick. I arrive at my office at around 6am and start with e-mail scheduling to report absent and/or sick tech's and then proceed with trip reports for the day and overtime for the day, i also check leave and sick submissions and arranging trips for technicians for installations and assist at branches. I have counselling sessions with technicians and do hearings,warnings and charge sheets for the technicians. I approve and manage repairs in w/shop for fleet vehicles of +/_ 280 vehicles at head office alone. Checking and approving overtime, assisting technicians from uniforms,pay queries technical advice etc. Arranging fitment drives and roster for after hour fitments. Checking Quality Audits, average fitments and photo downloads. At times interviews, Kpi and assisting disgruntled clients.

Pros: Always so much more to learn, great team.
Cons: Very stressful at times, prior to my appointment had about a dozen other employees all did not last more than three months

Learning pricing and new products

Incoming and outgoing calls . Sales journals. . Queries .payment allocations a very nice company to work for. Team player. Can assist when needed Enjoy dealing with clients. I've learnt a lot from Cartrack. The most challenging aspects is when you get this difficult clients that eoilf always be negative towards your work
