An adventure that keeps me on my toes

Working in such a deadline driven environment has helped me to be able to think out the box, communicate well and clear, and also to always avail myself for afterhour’s emergencies. Day to day tasks vary from ordering IT stock from vendors to troubleshooting laptops, desktop ,WiFi aps, mobile devices, printers and at times issues with windows servers. I have also been challenged to build a proxy server using ubuntu, which was tough but a great adventure for me. Networking and a bit of security (Kaspersk Anti-Virus) is a big part of day to day duties, with users having a freedom of bringing mobile devices to be connected to office WiFi. So I am always monitoring our anti-virus server. I install server operating systems when needed and also have configured a secondary domain controller.

Pros: Being able to build my support skills and people skills.
Cons: Dont get to work a lot with the Systems especially Servers, Active Directory, to help me to progress as System Administrator.

Enjoy to working with people

It is a great pleasure to work for this company and as a part othe team. I always want to see myself growing and developing as a smarter and better employee.. It is clear that professional development at work will lead me to engaged more productive. I always being proactive and participating in the meeting not just sitting there and listening. I would like to reach a higher goal and passionate about growing professionally. What makes me happy is that i always feel free to ask my employer any questions I'm mot happy about and why not. That's make me happier even outside at work.

This is a very nice company to work for but the salary is pathetic

I have gained a lot of experience here and the environment is very friendly. the mentors take their time in teaching you everything so that one acquires the set skills

Good working experience but need more growth

Great place to start as a young journo but little growth and the managers are not that professional. It can be toxic at times but the colleagues are helpful and ready to help.

Everything but an excellent learning curve

This is one of the most horrible companies that I have ever worked for in my over 14 years as an employee. Management is to say the least, childish, selfish, and poor. If you are not willing to sell your soul to the devil at this company, you will not thrive. We are currently 9 employees that are urgently looking for another job. The management of this company will literally make you work until you are dead. Most of the employees working for the editorial team is on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication to try and cope with the work circumstances and work load.

Cons: long working hours, horrible vibe, poor management, dictatorship
