Seeking something new
Leading a team of 7 induviduals daily, coaching amd developing, taking security precautions investigating data bases, ensuring all aspects of the store run smoothly, look at innovations to improve business and where we can improve risk. Believe in transparency with co workers amd immediate feedback. Care about those i work with offer support and guidance. Have learnt emotional intelligence and resilience, how to lead and lead by example. How to know the difference between leading and managing, how to have a vigilant eye amd be aware of suspicious activities both physical and not. I enjoy working woth people they are my passion and investigating/solving problems etc. Most challenging would be the managing people part but as challenging as it is it os so rewarding and also to remain focused and energised through out the day not allowing your guard to slip.

Excellent customer service and selling
I have been with cape union mart for more than 10 years, what i have lerned into this bussines is so much tht no school would have taught me this much. Handling difficult customers its much esier now than when i start here.

Great support structure from head office
Responsible of everything in the store, from opening to closing procedure of the store. Lead the team , responsible for monthly one one ones, to review performance and to set goals. Making sure target is reached and stock loss is controlled. I enjoy the culture of the company which is trust , innovation and passion. Most challenging is to be able to help understand the culture , and to live it in the correct way .

Great company to work for.
The Company is great and has a great culture too. As an employee you feel cared for. The CEO is great, and has a fantastic leadership style. He is the one who is responsible for setting up the company culture. He is one of my biggest influencers when it comes to leadership. I have learnt a lot about the importance of leadership and what role you play as a leader in the success of the company. My only challange right now is the hours we work at Retail.
