Excellent Learning curve

I work in the NGO Sector. It is a challenge to keep the sector sustainable in current economic. I manage 17 towns and have 237 oncology patients and 187 home base care patients under my supervision. I give at least 3 training's a month on cancer and do also talks at functions about cancer. I handle huge screening campaigns and awareness campaigns. I enjoy to see that my work make a difference in peoples lives. I've learnt to be emotionally very strong for I work with people who have a life threatening decease.

Pros: I get lots of experience
Cons: Long working hours

Great learning curve

It was a great learning curve because I gained confidence and communication skill when dealing with clients and staff. I have gained a lot of computer skills like capturing data, stock take, doing payment requisitions. I have experience in volunteering for fundraising events (eg shavathon).

Pros: It is a small regional office.
Cons: No growth

Good learning curve

Difficult to say at this point, because I was appointed during lockdown, and have not had any handover whatsoever. Co-workers swamped with work. Starting to get my head around the Sage 300 system.

Pros: Opportunity from promotion
Cons: No handover
