CAFDA Reviews

My life at CAFDA

I am the Financial Manager of a NGO that works with Child Protection. I also do the payroll for the company. I ensure that all Financial is captured accurately and reports are delivered on time. We have monthly Sub-Committee Meetings. I also attend Board meetings to report back on the finances of the organisation. I also do the daily cash flow for the organisation as well as loading of payments are inter account transfers on Standard Bank Online. I also do a lot of Administrative tasks such as writing Thank you letter for donations received. I liaise with donors, banks, auditors, etc. I am a very hard worker, loyal, willing to learn, fast learner and an all-rounder.

Pros: There is no opportunity for growth. As a NGO we are dependent on funding and donations.
Cons: A lack of funding and donations has made the stress levels go up.
