Great working experience

The environment is very conducive to learning, we collaborate on many projects with co-workers, share experiences and have close relationships with the investment committee members and executives due to the companies flat organisational structure. The training gained in analysing and investing in projects is invaluable, the day to day activities would include supervision of graduate interns, the building and nurturing of stakeholder relationships, conducting extensive due diligence studies and presenting the investment proposals to the committees. Key skills required are negotiation skills, numerical dexterity and analytical thinking.

Pros: Learning opportunities, international investments exposure, freedom to show initiative and take projects from prospecting to finalisation.
Cons: Limited investment scope in terms of projects deemed attractive to the company.

Great company, great learning experience, grea people, High work ethic

Beautiful company, beautifl people. learnt alot since i left varsity. learnt financial modeling, business rescues, structuring a deal, assessing whether a business is viable, desktop valuations but i moved to sales- and am not so strong in sales especially considering our products offering.

Pros: Great opportunity, high work ethic, great people
Cons: the job itself, sales. would love to grow in the accounting/ management accounting . structure is flat-

Great place to learn

This is a good company to work for. The staff is friendly and helpful. Senior management is approachable and willing to impart knowledge. It's a great place to learn ND gain experience.

Pros: Good employee benefits
Cons: One may see themselves becoming stagnant due to lack of room for upward growth
