busamed private hospital Reviews

Excellent learning curve

I am an all-rounder at coffee shop, along with my colleagues I prepare customers food orders as well as their drink , I could either work at the front directly with the customers on at the back to prepare their food orders ,make orders for stock and also receive stock. I also cash up at the end of the day. I'm a good team player and I get along very well with my colleagues.

Pros: Learning customer service
Cons: Long working hours and no salary growth

Excellent in what I do and being focus but most of all I need to be confidential

It very challenging working with people from different background but at the end you need to be a team player with those people in order the work will proceed. And I have learnt a lot from this current company that I'm working at things like SAP how to process creditors invoices and doing payment schedule monthly basis and this is where I got an understanding of the accounting .the most challenging aspects that I faced is working under pressure with not enough staff but need to meet the deadline because it a monthly the period must be closed

Pros: Great opportunity I have learnt the bookkeeping
Cons: I work 8 hours a day

Hardwork pays off

My day starts by physically checking that all is ok in the server room .then i log on to my laptop and start going through all server logs which include wsus to exchange server.at 9am i start doing my rounds in the hospital to make sure all COWS(computer on wheels ) is functional and working fine as this is a key tool for all doctors and nurses to log patients details. i manage and make sure all resident doctors are fine and also work hand in hand with service providers such as the pathologists and radiologists. i will go through my calls logged on the helpdesk as i manage the helpdesk as well.

Pros: getting a lot of exposure on server level
Cons: always on standby, and only tech onsite,

Experience

My current role as IT Administrator at Busamed Hospital Intails having to support all hospital staff and equipment. On a daily basis I get called in the Theatre to sort out problems while the patients are being operated on. I have to provide support to 24 private doctors rooms that are based in the Hospital as well. I have had to learn to work under ememnce pressure as I am the only Tech at this hospital site. I have learnt to prioritize incidents on severity and urgency of the issue at hand. Working with so many people on a daily basis has also taught me much on how people are so different and react differently to situations. Most challenging object of this job is to try and keep everyone happy at the same time and to provide the same level of support to all

Pros: Close to home
Cons: Long hours
