Excellent learning curve but fewer promotion opportunities

- A typical day at work for me is like any average work, busy at the beginning of the month to quieter days towards the end of the month. -My relationship with my colleagues is like that of a family, we always have each other's backs and work hand in hand all the time, helping each other out whenever necessary - i have learnt to be a team player, my previous employ was me and myself alone, but then the office environment is a bit different, its like a chain work, you have teammates and i have to play my unique role in that team - What i enjoy most is the growth that comes with the job itself, challenges that put you on urge and forces you to learn new things, like Exports - The most challenging aspect of the job is to do all this without prior knowledge and training of it, but i was told the only way to learn to swim is to be thrown in with the sharks, so here i am.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth and new set of skills, even without proper qualifications
Cons: Fewer or non-existent promotion opportunities

Excellent learning curve

People there are very friendly Always willing to help when you asking for help Everyone treated fairly with a sense of equity We always had trainings which kept us on top of our jobs They also encouraged us to study further

Wonderful learning curve

Excellent learning curve and versatile industry ,salary almost stationery ,no trade union in place ,company not willing to hire kore staff and over walks the little staff there

I enjoy my Logistics career - 29 years experience

EveryWarehousing , Logistics and Distribution is my life , my career - 29 Years Experience including SHE (Occupational , Health And Safety .Every day a challenging day in this Logistics environment , always busy , never board .Always looking forward to the next new day . I am very happy in my day to day career

Pros: I am enjoying my career in this logistics / warehousing environment
Cons: Travelling to work and back is a concern to me hense the reason I am looking for a career closer to home .
