Excellent learning opportunity for a business management and technical growth

A day comprises of long equipment performance checks and chemical performance checks. Checking and addressing issues and performance of product with relevant customers. Working with co-workers is one of the greatest attributes that has kept me positive about the long hours spent on customer site, it is a wonderfull experience. Planning was the greatest learning, time management and cutting to the chase with what is to be done. The challenging aspects is meeting customer demands because they mostly want more for less and managing that by written technical report and addressing higher or lower budget costs. Meeting customer demands and my cumponies bugdet was the greatest thing about my time here.

Experience and expertise

Have established business growth as Account Manager, identify customer gaps and provide solutions in closing them converting the opportunities to business. Being in charge of multiple Accounts, my passion is business development. Challenging aspects of the position is prolonged extensive long hours. Typically my work day starts at 05h00, prepare for customer plant status meeting, provide performance review of product applications, predictive models and CI initiatives. I have an excellent relationship with co-workers and am respected as a specialist in my field. Through the training I have received, I have managed to secure new business and have established a trusted advisory role to all of my customers.

Challenging, learning and fun. Learned lot of things.

Started as a trainee in research and development moved to quality control laboratory. Ensuring all products meets quality specifications. I learned the first in first out principle with an exception of time. Making some lab batches was a challenge. After quality control was promoted to sales. Where one never knows home time. The most challenging aspect was to explain to senior customer why there are problems in the system. I learned never cut conners but do whatever it takes. Fixing pipes and pumps was the enjoyable part of the job.

Cons: Deadlines, due to verifications and ensuring high quality.
