Seeking a new job opportunity

My day starts at 5-50 am daily from Monday to Friday. I am at work till 6-00 pm at times in order to ensure that my tasks are completed. I have a very a respectiveful and good understanding with my collegues. Mostly I have learnt that communication between Team leader and collegues is imperative in the work enviroment, also to ensure productivity. I enjoy the type of work that I do, that is working with people and being able to assist also to attain the human touch. The challenging issue is also handling enormous work loads between emails, new claims and phone calls similtanoeusly,which to me is not humanly possible and the rest of the team can attest to it. My greatest challenge at this point in time is working with a superior that provides no sense on empathy or any desire to give moral support to the team. No human intervention despite working in the same team. No respect which to me plays a vital role in the work enviroment.

Excellent learning curve

I have started my career as a Learner in 2018 March and I was responsible for loading of quotes and policies for clients on behalf of the insurance brokers . I was also assisting with the Post mails and also assisting at switchboard. In 2019 April I was an intern in the same company and I was responsible for loading the quotes and policies, and also amending the policies and quotes. I had a very good relationship with my manager , and my coworkers. The reason for leaving the job was because my contract ended in March 2020 . What I have learned in my previous job was that time is very important and we were given the time limit for doing quotes and policies. I have also learned that accuracy is very important.

Excellent experience

New Business, Quotes, Renewals, relationship with brokers, Reissue of new and existing policies. Typing of letters and issuing them a 30 days notice of the action taken. Multi-claimants.

It is a learning curve.

There are no long hours.. but the work load is hectic. Management is minimally involved in the day to day claims management... we are able to work independently

Great experience to work as a group and supporting each other .

It has always been a great experience to be given a responsibility to do quotes for the clients and to ensure the work is done within a given range of time . I have also enjoyed working as a group and where I do not understand I asked those who one of the colleagues within the team.

Pros: It was easy for the manager and colleagues to see my true potential

I am doing my internship

I have learned to work under pressure and I do not have a problem to deal with it. I am very greatfull that they have given me the opportunity to learn more about insurance and what I like is that they are bringing more learners in a company so that they can also learn about insurance and how to deal with customers.
