Don't muzzle the Ox...

The Insurance industry has one of the most highest earning potential in any industry, however it takes money to make money and operational expenses and running cost of any person can outweigh the commission earning potential of that person, especially when you have a very small basic and you are not the one closing the sale. BrightRock has a superior product and excellent after sales administration but they pay their Distribution Directors purely commission only which is also a very small percentage. Fancy titles means nothing to a Father that needs to pay his bills and put food on the table for his Family, this is the weakness of this Company. Our staff turnover is very high, people come in but move on because their earning is unsustainable.

Pros: The product that BrightRock has developed will change the face of Life Insurance in the future. Its is creating a more professional environment for financial advicec to be dispensed to the public and thus securing more home more accurately at the lowest possible price to the consumer.
Cons: The Distribution channel are the pond in the game and they have purposed to sacrifice the pond in order to protect their King, (Their shareholders & Founders)

Full Bookkeeping and Financial Control

I love my job but do not wish to work a full day each day and the ever increasing traffic situation is intolerable. (06h30 - 17h45 normal) I get on very well with my colleagues but am not employed on the insurance side just financial applications etc. My full job description is on my CV. Brightrock (Pty) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Lombard Insurance Group. My salary was >R40K/month but on 12 month contract R20K/month fixed

Pros: Retiring age in not more than 65 yeasr
Cons: Yes - long working hours are tedious with this traffic situation.
