I have learned so much regarding sales, managing of diaries and customer service.

I have personally benefited from working here. Being a positive person, I motivate myself every day to see what I am capable of doing. I have never worked in sales, and even though I have done well for a novice, it is not my favourite. I do prefer not having a target and having commission issues. I do enjoy working with people and seeing different faces everyday as I am situated at Reception. But I find the staff turn over rather alarming and of course, not getting benefits, is a large issue. No medical aid, pension or performance related bonuses. I would prefer a half day position so that I can still have time to pursue other interests.

Pros: Close to home. Really nice co-workers
Cons: Long working hours. No benefits. Staff turnover very bad.

Great learning curve and work experience

Bramhope has a great work environment and we work well together. Most of the staff is young which promotes good competition. I have worked in internal sales with a sales rep and I have learned to communicate with both suppliers and customers and build sustaining relationships with both. The challenging part of internal was eeping up the promises that sales reps make. Deadlines that were unrealistic. The pressure taught me how to calm down and focus to get the results I needed. I learned that panic was not going to solve anything. I have rotated positions and now work in Procurement. Since I already have a strong relationship with suppliers, it was easy for me to go to procurement. I liaise with suppliers regarding prices, deliveries and collections. I forecast and plan according to the sales we have and customer needs.

Sometimes a good learning curve

My workplace has its up an downs sometimes its nice sometimes one feels like resigning cause most of the employees are not happy at all about how things are run at work.. lately i dont enjoy anything about my work i used to love working for Bramhope before they hired the new interns last year an we being supervised by an intern who we have to teach how work its done
