Always up for a challenge
Over the past 25 years it's been challenging but it was a learning curve.My day starts from the time I set my foot inside the work place ,I enjoy my job I try to solve my customer's queries,within the shortest period possible . I get along with my colleagues very well and you must learn to adapt becuase people has different personalities.I learnt a lot over the years,due to system changes,like Sap-srs,crm and pos. I enjoy my job and to assist the customers with their complaints and the most rewarding is when the complaint is resolved and the customer is happy. The most challenging is when we did the conversion from Russell's to bradlows and the system was down for almost 2 weeks ,then we had to do everything manually ,banking ,Wright out manual receipts and when the system was eventually running we had to capture all our manual work and reconciling it.
Pros: I'm always willing to learn and up for change on a daily basis.
Cons: I don't mind working long hours I have been working in retail for 25 years already ,as long as it's reasonable hours.

Excellent learning curve
I enjoy working with people from different walks of life,I am perceived to be a good motivator, ambitious, conscientious person who enjoy working with people and I posses a great sense of humour A typical working day for me is 8:00-17:00 to be at work at 7:30-7:45 to prepare for opening the store and start exactly at 8:00 for business to start on high note motivate co workers ,concentrate on improving sales ,exploring new ways of improving business working together with the team.The challenges are always there in a sales job is to aleays meet your targets but you can always overcome all the challenges if you are the team player there are no big challenges

Motivated
It was my entry level into the work force and I must say I enjoyed being employed . I enjoyed having to wake up and do my job . Work for me was therapeutic as I encounter many problems in my youth .

I started as sales assistant and ended up as a financial manager
Working at Retail taught me so many things,customer service,attending complains especially when the customer is angry,I listen to the customer without any interfering while he's talking and after he is done talking I will start with an apology first and he will go home satisfied,What I like more about my colleagues is we understand each other and communication is what we do more and assisting each other.we working nice and the environment is also healthy.Budget target gross margin and profit are looking good every month for us to qualify for incentives.The most challenging part was finding some money in the bank statement without any reference,while busy doing recon.
Pros: Got promotion from sales assistance to cashier and from cashier to credit controller and from credit to financial manager
Cons: I was working for 8 hours Monday to Saturdays and every last Sunday of month end

I am fast learner and I take my work very seriously being unique also made my work to be different and beautiful working under pressure makes me very focused when comes to my work and I like working as a group sharing ideas from one another.
Pros: I believe that I will be an asset to the company
Cons: is to do my my work the way u want it to be done and to satisfy customers.

Customer service, employee relations, building management
In retail, the most challenging aspects of the job is usually customer relations. Because it is direct contact with the customer, I groomed my staff on first impressions, hello within 10 seconds, a smile, a nod as acknowledgement and then allowing the customer to indicate willingness to start communication. Body language and application when communicating to indicate confidence in the product you are to represent and sell.

Excellent learning curve
You come to work sit at you workstation log in and open the portal for cashier to start working then you get the banking file en file al documents from prefuse days.make sure invoice files is up to date and filed.do al relatif admin work for the day.stock klerks filling done dayle as well,sectionals done dayle.assist with cust complains and accounts take payments.if got a good relasionship with co workers will give advise as they seek for it.i love doing admin work.my work speaks for it self.to releaved the store when the manager is not availebel

Day
Day starts with meetings admin and sales . All staff together clean the store. There is a very good relationship when the pressure to achieve their targets is on they get frustrated. They have one on one performance discussions daily .

Ok
It was a good company to work for had good incentives and always listened to any staff member that had an issue .management was always trying to grow people within the company whenever potential was visible, due to personal problems had to resign last year, it was very important to work as a team just not only within the branch but also with the other branches. If there was an opening will definitely apply again. I started as a clerk and due to my passion of not just to be a clerk I worked up to be a financial manager and then manager my position never stopped me to be a part of all aspects of the job within my branch from being a GA to being a manager I swept and mopped ,to be cashier,salesperson and admin manager right till my last day of employ.
