Review summary

I provide legal advice on Labour law related issues to various clients in the public and private sectors. I enjoy working with different companies on complex legal issues relating to the workforce. I also have extensive experience in conducting training on negotiations with trade unions, sexual harassment, managing discipline in the workplace, performance management and all sorts of policies relating to employees.

Pros: Great exposure to all kinds of Labour related matters, whether at CCMA and courts or trade union related issues and drafting and enforcement of collective agreement
Cons: Ready for a change in house

Challenging with HRIS System. Great Culture across firm

Very challenging without an HROS System. General Culture is great. Work I believe could be done smarter with more collaboration across the teams. Still a bit to do with regards to learning opportunities.

Knowledge Sharing Opportunity

I have 12 years of experience in Enterprise Systems and storage, Data Center Operations, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Backup, Recovery and Archive, Desktop Hardware & Software Support on Microsoft Systems. He specialises in Data Center Operation Management, Backup, Archive, Storage, IT Services Management & Microsoft packages as well as IBM, Dell & HP Hardware troubleshooting. I have experience in managing Domain Migrations using (Microsoft System Centre and Active Directory) and Managing IT Helpdesk as well as 1st & 2nd Tier Support. I am currently working as an IT Services Manager for Africa & Middle East at Givaudan.

Great people, great policies.

Overall great place to work given the type of people who work there. Leadership is hands on and open. There is however limited growth opportunities for people working outside of the traditional legal services.

Cons: Slow to little growth opportunities when working outside the traditional legal field.
