Most things I did know I was taught Apart of what I learned from school i gained more at the work place though sometimes its hard Teamwork at the work place When ever I was unable to fix somethingI used go out and ask for help in order for me to learn. I have learnt to accept the way things are Because work environmentsare not the same

My experience

As legal Secretary my key responsibilities are litigation by drafting legal documents, starting with s129, Summons, RDJ, RDJ Queries and Warrant of Execution or Section 65A (1) Notice. I'm a team player, easy to interact with persons from different back round and I believe that I can always learn from others and others can learn alot from me. The experience I have acquired in my current job has taught me that law is life and confidentiality is of vital importance.

Good place to learn and grow

Working in a litigious law firm teaches you to work under pressure and to always ensure that your work is meticulous. I generally run my own matters and have to ensure that I am up to date with legislation and case law to ensure that the next step I am going to take is the best suited for the client. It is a hard working atmosphere and you are always pushed to do your best. I am taught different aspects of the law from companies, insolvency, family, labour and contracts.

Cons: Salary vs amount of work
