Excellent learning curb to shape the career you would want to see yourself growing in. Great opportunity to build customer relationships promote growth within the company. Training courses available to get better hands on experience. Teaches you how to be flexible in a extremely high intensity environment and how to cope with leadership within a team. Motivation is key when pushing your employees to succeed that not only help them but benefits the business too resulting in better turn overs, mystery shopper results and a happy working environment.

Growing up

Before starting at Bluff Meat supply i was previously in companies that dealt with low risk foods that had a shelf life starting from 4 months or more but at Bluff meat supply i got exposed to products that were high risk and with much more stricter rules due to the high risk products which helped me be much more firm, precise and discipline with my work nd growing up more within the industry and what happens around it.

Excellent opportunity

Working at Bluff meat has been an amazing experience for me and I am ever so greatful that I have had the pleasure of working therein the time that I have. I started off as a casual worker while still in school. As a single teenage parent it helped get me through, I later became permanent after matric and have been working there ever since. I do on the other hand believe I am capable of more and I don't mind working hard or learning new things.

Not all people are real..intelect will help to distinguish between real and fake people..

Work days are the usual starting up of the factory machinery,making sure all is in order so production is smooth,working in conjuction with the managers and machine operators sorting out breakdowns and minor hiccups with production ,adjusting machine programs and making new programs to speed up or increase the quality of our products.

Excellent learning curve

Workworking at bluff meat supply is a growing journey as you start from the bottom till up meaning yo ,opening paperwork urging invoices into sorter , putting them into sitter from 7th, 14th and 30th based on payment wise. Open search for capturing an importing of invoices lose of seven days payments print remitents and file. Do recon for all the suppliers based on sstatements. My relationship with co workers is excellent u start and we very good in working as a team. I have learnt to work individually and as a team,, to manage time, to meet target and to work under pressure. I enjoy the opportunity that are being given to me as they help me to grow my knowledge and helping your carrier to grow. Challenges that I face is to work over hours .

I am very passionate about Food Safety and love what I do

While temping for Bluff Meat Supply, I am setting up policies, procedures and checklists to implement a HACCP system in the shops like we have at the polony factory. I get along with all the staff, whether it be top management, owners or cleaners... We are all here to perform a task to make safe products, and to pay our bills at the end of the day. I have learnt to listen and take advice, as I am not perfect. The more I interact with all levels of staff and management, the more I can improve on my job and relationship with others. I absolutely LOVE what I do. I love learning new things and interacting with others. The most challenging aspect of my job would be if I did not get the support from the owners and senior management.
