AWESOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH

I would like to contribute positively to the core values of the organization. As a result, I Believe that I am the right candidate for the position advertised. I feel that I have the necessary skills as detailed on my CV to perform the duties thereto. I am a self confident person who believes in collective efforts and therefore value the spirit of teamwork. It is through team work that I believe we can achieve more as a group. I also believe I being an active team player to uplift the efforts of the whole team towards a common goal. My ability to communicate and effectively perform tasks is what I value the most in getting the most out of my work. I also believe in positive thinking as a tool to overcome all negative forces in performing my duties. I therefore feel that this position poses a challenge that I am willing to face. This position will surely offer me an opportunity to realize my full potential.

Pros: The nature of my work experience has prepared me for this position. It involved a great deal of independent research,growth, self-motivation and a wide range of skills.
Cons: I am a target driven person, with a keen eye for detail and I should be very grateful for the opportunity to progress. I am able to take on the responsibility of this position and have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it.

Challenging but worth it

My Typical work day starts with me opening the warehouse and making sure everything is okay and that there hasn’t been any break ins. Followed by sitting up my workstation and getting my morning tea. First thing is to check my mail for any mail I might have missed the previous day and start completing that. I will then get the previous days dispatch list and start manufacturing the items in the systems which could prove to be challenging. Mainly because there would not be enough information loaded for the creation of items and you would have to chase after the project manager for this information. If not hat then the manufacturing components are not GRV’ed or transferred correctly or they just don EXIST. After fighting those battles, I have to try and do some ad hoc work as we are currently understaffed. Most of all I have to make sure that whatever I do the costing os correct and not changed as this affects the whole finance department. Just a taste of my work day.

Cons: No clear work ethics and rules

Good Start for Management Experience

I have learnt to work as a team player or solo and created family like relationships with co-workers. I have also learnt that hard work and hours spent to resolve issues and obstacles will ensure that those obstacles does not reoccur in the future. A typical day is to meet with the Team(Call Center, NOCC, Field Technicians) in the morning before the retail market opens. A casual chat in the morning with a coffee resolves a lot of issues and friction in a lot of fields/departments. Communication is 110% necessary for any company. If it is not done right it creates confusion, frustration and even job dissatisfaction.

Pros: Learning a lot about latest technology. Teamwork and Team Management
Cons: Retail working Hours

Good learning experience

the people have great energy and are good people to be around but the job is monotonous once you get te hang of it, not challenging and there is no growth in the department i work with,the job has mostly taught me a lot about he corporate environment especially since it was my first job after school but i feel my potential is wasted because it no longer challenges me

Pros: good learning experience, as a stepping stone
Cons: no growth/promotion, little salary

Excellent learning curve

We work in a office with 5 employees, me included. My department covers client communications and network monitoring. Clients call in for numerous reasons and we assist with solutions if in our department. We work together with other department such as Stock, Graphic Design, etc.

Pros: Great opportunity for networking
Cons: Long working hours
