Great stepping stone

A typical day consists of an 8hr shift form 8am to 4pm. Relationship with co-workers was professional although sometimes tensions wouls show here and there. Also some employees where more equal than others because of the favouratism from some members in managements I learnt to speak out if I'm facing challenges and to ask for help when necessary. I loved and appreciated the fact tThe only challenging aspect about the job was sometimes the environment was hostile. When working under pressure you couldn't not fully get support from other colleagues due to the internal cliques hat I got an opportunity to grow from reception to work as an Accounts Clerk in the Accounts department. The position encouraged me to pursue my studies in Financial Accounting and hence I am now a certified Bookkeeper with ICB

Pros: Good working hours
Cons: No actual room for professional growth

BioworldSA is a Biomedical engineering industry company offering clinical engineering services.

It has been a very big learning curve working for BioworldSA. Travelling around the world has been the most exciting part of the job although challenging on the family front. Coming from a purely electronics engineering background, I made my baby step into Biomedical engineering.

Pros: Big international exposure.
Cons: lack of professionalism
