Opportunities are there for certain culture of the target market of the company

Fast growing company,with lot of opportunities but limited to few due to target market of the company.Developing employees is not priority, our destiny within the company is determined by the management. Critised when using your own initiative. Responsibilities does not match remuneration, that's why most of the people employed are under qualified. Majority of employees are ill-descipline and not take their job seriously and not proud about being employed at this company. High rate of absenteeism more especially on month end and Mondays,

Fast growing interesting environment

Opportunities open to certain culture people. So many to learn,but unfortunately our desteny is determined by culture.Employees most lack experience and nothing is done to develop them or motivate them to development themselves.lot of responsibility but less rewarded.

Great for school leavers

My typical day at work begins with me opening the store (in time),engaging with customers,selling biltong ,unpacking stock ,receiving stock and end of day cashup .most of the time ,i am working alone but when i am with my colleagues,the relationship is great ,we get along very well.what i have learnt from my job is to learn to work alone without any supervision and still get the job done well.my job is very easy going ,the only challenge is that theres no growth ,which makes one a bit stagnant and comfortable

I have gained much information when it comes to customer service.

My day to day work includes; packaging, stock receiving, sending emails, answering phone, cashier and customer service. Working alone everyday, meeting new people makes me realise my strengths and my weaknesses. I learnt to be independent, to face difficult situations alone because other clients will treat you bad. I am enjoying working with people. But I don't like working there just for the fact that it is very cold.

Pros: There are no other opportunities other than sales assistant
Cons: 8 hours a day

Fast growing interesting environment

My work include delivering meat and biltong to different outlet in a higenic and safe manner at a set time.As the product are very delicate, I have to deliver as quick as possible and always maintaining the set temperature of the cooling system. Having good relation with my assistant help me a lot to minimise lost stock and delivering within a set time frame. My work helped me to manage my time and not compromising road rules and regulations even under severe pressure. My work is very demanding more especially on month end,traffic pressure and customer demand have to be balance with compromising the road safety.

Excellent learning curve

The goods that I have learned from this company, most of all its a customer service training, approach to customers and how to multitask. The team work (co-workers) are the best people to work with. The most thing that I enjoy about the company is to meet up different customers, communist with them, making them feel at home and welcomed in theshop.I have even learned on how to deal wth rude customers. The only challenge is that we are working long hours, we transportation problem, far more we knock very late and the place is not save.

Excellent Learning Curve

Its not bad at all,My problem is that there are not enough challenges for me to grow as a person in the working environment. My relationship with my co-workers is really good although there's not much of teamwork as I'm handling almost everything alone. I've learned to communicate and engage with people so well and I've also learned to accommodate each and every language I'm communicated with. I enjoy engaging with good customers and giving them what they love. Picking up heavy objects at times is very challenging .

Goog working environment

i worked as a runner for three mouths later promoted to be a operator due to my hard work i was exposed to many things as worker of that company i worked hard daily to achieve and produce more for the day i"m a hard worker leaned more about meat types ,stock count ,stock control the factory was cold but easy to adapt i thought my self a lot about the industry

Bad working xurve

Hectic day everyday,extra working hours,on feet for the whole day and also management is rude Nd apologetic,employeea complain everyday,we cut our fingers and no one cares about it,no one carea anout ones health and how they manage to get home after hours

No room for growth

My typical day at work stars with making sure the store is open on time,helping customers,receiving stock,unpacking,cleaning the store and end of day cashup.i have a great relationship with my colleagues,we get along fine .what i have learnt most from my job is to work with no supervision and still do my job right and i enjoy that i get to meet a lot of people everyday.The challenge i face right now is that there is really no room for growth and the mind is not challenged to think outside the box,too repetitive.
