Excellent Personal Skills Development

A typical day at work includes project meetings, obtaining status updates from teams, managing project progress and updating project documentation. Some days, its testing or analysing reports to ensure its meeting compliance. I enjoy working on different projects as it allows me to learn and grow my skills everyday. Every project is different and comes with its own challenges, which keeps me on the go always, so never a boring moment. I have learnt so much, from working with SAP modules, to project management tools and techniques, to BI reporting and analysis. I get along well with my co-workers and teams. We laugh, share fun moments and also assist each other with work and queries. We learn from each other everyday.

Cons: No opportunity for further career improvement

Temporary position with excellent learning curve on new payroll system SAP. Never too old to learn!

Started in October this year...current lady is on Maternity leave.Very professional yet relaxed atmosphere to work in. A company that has a place for everything and everything in it's place. Modern and yet orderly. I have an easy respectful approach to staff on all levels. Most of them would like to see me stay on permanently... Amazing to see how many females in high level positions, giving hope to others to aspire to their dreams. There is plenty of learning opportunities available to grow professionally and personally. My new challenge is learning the new payroll system i.e. SAP in the most challenging months of the payroll year,which is Bonus month!! Yippee looking forward to a great stay at Bidvest. It's a learning curve on all levels.

Pros: Unfortunately not at the moment as I am on a temporary basis.
Cons: Wish it was a permanent position

It is business with efficient and supportive. It place where one develops dearly. It one of the Bidvest companies and is chemical based industry where they store chemicals. The employees are supportive and live up to their business culture. The Company is well established. It also support employees pursue their career while advancing their qualifications.

Excellent Learning Curve

I started here as a graduate and before my internship contract ended, the Training Assistant position came up, I applied and I got the job. Basically I am the one who started the whole department, as they did not have a Training Department in this branch. I must say I have grown to learn a few things in which I will take with me when I leave the company. My aim was start as a graduate and maybe grow in an HR department, I have had no luck in HR positions. I am not complaining though. I have learnt to work with different people from different backgrounds and different opinions. This has taught me that we all live by different values, but with each value we become a strong team that compliments each other's shortcomings and strength.

Like to learn new skills and challanges

Dipping of stock tanks, prepare pumps for maintenance, do line-ups for ship offloading. Generate

I dip tanks. Prepare pumps for maintenance. Do line-ups for ship offloading and truck loading and rail loading of fuels(petrol, diesel and jet fuel). Do FANs (filling advice notice) for trucks to load.
