Fast paced, Ever Changing

Working at GM has certainly been an experience I will never forget. I have met so many people in my journey here that have certainly become friends. A typical day at GM for me will busy, answering phone calls, helping walk in customers with making bookings for their vehicle's to be service or any other queries that they might need help with. This is a very competitive environment, and some co workers will go out of their way to make sure they come out on top regardless of the consequences towards anyone else. I have learned to be patient in all situations as well as not taking anything personal that people might say to you. The most challenging part of this job for me was the sudden change of management, getting to know them is hard, therefore you don't always know exactly where you stand which causes uncertainty. I enjoyed my job for one simple reason: The Customers!

Fast paced, Ever Changing

This is an over all good company to work for but there isn't a lot of chance to grow. Not all co-workers are friendly or easy to get a long with, for some people this is a very competitive job. if they don't like you or think that you do a good enough job they will make sure you know that. Some co-workers are nice, kind and sincere real easy to get a long with and build a great working relationship I have learned a lot of patience, organising skills and communication skills working here as my position can get a bit hectic on days. I formed a close bond with most of my co-workers and the managers that were here before the new people arrived and we are all still in contact. most challenging part of this job is knowing you do your best everyday, maybe even more than what you get paid to do... and you don't get noticed or given credit for your work, until you do something wrong. Also the fact that you can't really grow is a issue.

Cons: No opportunity for promotion

Different Experience

Working at GM is exciting as you always get to meet new customers each with their own uniqueness. It can be rough at times when dealing with difficult customers as well as other employees in the company. Some of the managers are great at what they do and they really care about you. Each day is different, you never know what is going to happen or how your day is going to end. You need excellent people skills, admin duties and a lot of self believe and patience.

Pros: Meeting new people, Great Benefits
Cons: Long Hours, Open on saturdays, competitive co-workers, favorite-ism
